Now I incorporate as much local food as I possibly can into my weekly meals. It is easier for me than most people because I raise a big garden, have my laying hens, buy meat and chicken from neighbors, and spend a lot of time canning and freezing for the winter. We have a small greenhouse that provides us greens, lettuce, and tomatoes into the dead of winter.
I printed out a weeks meals using as much local food as I could. You should be able to view them here.
I get wheat from my cousin and grind my flour. You can also use "Wheat Montana" flour or bread -it's as local as I can find. Everything else is food that you can grow or buy from local producers.
